JoJo Siwa has made it the top of yet another pyramid.
The Dance Moms alum has experienced plenty of criticism since dropping her song "Karma" in April, but she is continuing to take it all in stride—even as she topped the list of YouTube's Most Disliked Music Video by a Female Artist in 2024.
JoJo recounted the list on her TikTok July 18, counting down from Ariana Grande's "yes, and?" at fourth place with 290,000 dislikes, followed by Katy Perry's "WOMAN'S WORLD" in third place with 330,000 dislikes and second place going to Taylor Swift's "Fortnight" with 350,000 dislikes.
"Your number one first place overall," JoJo yelled excitedly, "goes to 'Karma' by JoJo Siwa with an astonishing, record-breaking 3.1 million dislikes!"
Ever the optimist, the 21-year-old found a way to look on the positive side of topping the list.
"You know, I am the only person that can say I beat Taylor Swift on a list of something," she joked. "I'll take it."
The So You Think You Can Dance judge has been vocal about how thrilled she is to have entered her adult era, and chalks up the criticism she's received to people being "afraid of things they don't know."
"Things can be scary for people," she told E! News in April. "New things can be very, very scary."
But JoJo is thankful that she has received validation from many musicians she admires, like Lil Nas X and Meghan Trainor.
"The way that I'm able to keep going and keep being like, 'Wait, actually what I'm doing is right,'" JoJo explained, "is because some of the most respected people in the world have come up to me and been like, 'What you're doing right now is so right. It is what the world needs, and I'm learning from what you are doing right now.'"
She added, "Support from people like that means the world to me."
